6 Things to Do in Ireland

This past February, I was lucky enough to visit Ireland. One of the countries on my top 3 list when I went to study abroad. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

1. Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs are incredible to see in person, and the drive out to see them is just as stunning. I was lucky enough to have great weather when I arrived. We took the Paddy Wagon tours to get there and I would recommend looking into that company instead of driving yourself! You’ll get some history about the country as you ride along!

2. Wander Dublin

If you have a few hours to wander around Dublin, then I would recommend doing it! There is so much to see! I wrote this post about spending 24 hours there! There’s so many cool buildings to see, and bridges to cross.

3. Ashford Castle

This castle is on my bucket list. I didn’t get to go there last time, but they filmed the show Reign there in the first episode and my friend visited a few summers ago and loved it! So obviously Ireland is already on my list of places to go back to!

4. Trinity College Library

I mean look at it. How stinkin’ cool.

5. Guinness Tour

While in Dublin, I didn’t set aside time to go on a Guinness factory tour, but a lot of people do! It’s definitely on my to do list for next time!

6. Visit Blarney Castle

I didn’t kiss the Blarney stone last time, but if you have time to do so, go do it! Get that gift of gab!

Since leaving Ireland, I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful it is! Rolling green hills and Dublin is a great city full of food and live music. Everyone I met in Ireland was really friendly. I can’t wait to go back to this country and visit more of it!

Have you been to Ireland before? Do you have anything on your Ireland bucket list that’s not on mine? I’d love to know your thoughts!
